Cotton plants require large quantities of nitrogen. Farmers have several methods for providing the organic cotton with the right amount of nitrogen. Chicken manure, vetch crops, or fava bean crops all help supply the organic cotton with nitrogen and all take the place of the synthetic fertilizers used with convention cotton farming.

Come time for processing potato starch is used instead of harsh chemicals such as chlorine. Normally during the spinning process finishes and other additives added to the cotton as a last touch, but once again, to keep the process organic natural oils are used.
